Boutique Hydration w/The Injector Boutique

The Injector Boutique is such a surprisingly casual visit that it feels like you are popping into a cafe for a cup of coffee rather than a round of Botox. Just settle into a cozy lounge chair with a blanket and sparkling water as you put your feet up and wait for your treatment.

You’re instantly comfortable, and cultivating that vibe is owner Katy Butkovich, whose credentials and demeanor make even novice patients feel at ease. The long-time nurse practitioner opened her boutique to provide a more welcoming experience to cosmetic injectables than the typical sterile hospital environment. The abbreviated menu exclusively features injectable treatments, with Katy meticulously curating only those that can provide results for clients. She thoroughly listens to her patient’s concerns, taking notes and creating the optimal treatment plan for their wellness journey.

The boutique’s IV hydration therapy is gaining popularity, where patients receive a cocktail of fluids and nutrients given intravenously, or in the form of a vitamin shot if they’re short on time. Katy says that IVs and muscle injection allow for a nearly 100% absorption rate of vitamins versus taking them orally, which means you notice benefits like increased energy, metabolism, and immunity more quickly.Another sought-after treatment is PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy, also known as the “Vampire Facial.” The highly-advanced procedure spins a small blood draw from the patient in a centrifuge, separating platelets and plasma from the red blood cells. The byproduct is then injected into the skin or applied topically through microneedling.

Once introduced back to the skin, the platelet-rich plasma triggers collagen and elastin production, encouraging cell turnover and targeting a slew of skin concerns like wrinkles, under-eye circles, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, enlarged pores, and more. PRP is completely organic to the patient, so while it may seem unnerving, it’s actually extremely non-invasive. A more traditional way to address the signs of aging is, of course, Botox. Though assumed to be used on more mature patients, Botox and its alternative, Dysport, are actually more effective as a preventative treatment for fine lines and wrinkles, and starting earlier means better results can be achieved, saving money on corrective treatment later on.

In addition to treating wrinkles, Botox and Dysport can also be used to create a fuller pout. Alternatively, dermal fillers can add volume to lips, smooth lines and contour cheeks. Another face-sculpting technique is Kybella, which destroys under-chin fat cells at the source to remove extra weight and target double chins.

With so many treatment options it can be hard to wrap your head around where to start and which injectables are for you. Katy emphasizes a close patient-provider relationship in order to create realistic expectations and reach goals together. She is a firm believer in customized treatment plans for each and every patient and provides thorough explanations to ensure everything is understandable.

Once a novice consumer of injectables herself, Butkovich was fascinated by the science behind the treatments but felt the client process could use some improvement. “I come from a family of hard workers and entrepreneurs and I’ve always been taught to apply myself and dream big,” she says of her realization that she could make these changes herself.

The nurse practitioner left her career in pediatric neurology and used her education and decade of experience in the medical field to open her own practice - experience that is evident through her confidence and care with a syringe.

She says her passion and purpose in life is to connect with people in more ways than just beauty on the outside. “I love learning and growing from everyone I meet and being a part of their anti-aging journey.”

Between Katy’s expertise, the inviting lounge ambiance, and the ease of getting effective treatments, more and more patients are realizing the benefits of the Injector Boutique approach to anti-aging, where you feel comfortable in the chair and in your skin.
