The Mane Claire

There is a new blonding specialist in town and she is known for transforming her clients into straight up bombshells. Stylist Claire Tassoul relocated to Green Bay from Michigan last year and has been in high demand ever since. Owner of The Mane Claire inside The Shoppes at the Village on Oneida Street, the stylist specializes in blonding services, hair extensions, and bridal hair and makeup.
Though don’t feel as if you have to be blonde to book with Claire; she also caters to brunettes. “High contrast is the trendiest color for brunettes currently, so it’s always thrilling to add more pop by their face,” she says. She has many clients who love to enhance their color with dimensions in the spring and then go all one color as cooler seasons approach.
Claire has evolved her specialities throughout the years, and she is finally in a place where she feels she can focus on the services that she is most passionate about: blonding and bridal. “Timing is everything and at this point in my career I feel like I am ready to take on a completely different type of services in order to cater to my clients’ needs,” she says.
She is so drawn to bridal services that she partnered with two other local stylists to launch a new brand, Rosé and Co. Bridal. Together these stylists aim to bring a truly luxurious experience to Wisconsin brides. The trio was so in demand that they instantly booked up 2022 dates, and their just-released 2023 openings for next year’s brides are already filling up.
Her love for bridal stems from her early experiences in the competitive dance scene; of this she says, “The dance and bridal worlds are very similar in terms of the bobby pin count… a stash for life!” While dance styles are very specific to look as cohesive as possible, bridal hair is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to really find a style that goes with a bride’s personality, dress, and overall look of the wedding. She offers both bridal hair and airbrush makeup, and finds it rewarding to work with individuals who have never received professional services before. Her favorite part is seeing a bride or bridesmaid full of confidence in their look, and it shows: “When you look good you feel good!” she says.

Tassoul wants each and every client to leave satisfied and confident in their hairstyle and their ability to recreate it at home. Beyond ensuring they are happy (and working until they are), she also enjoys the educational aspect of her relationships. “Need help curling? I’ll teach you before you leave! Still confused on why you need to keep up with frequent trims even if you’re trying to grow your hair? I’ll educate you on how that all works!” Claire says. She will dive into the science of hair washing with you and the psychology of why our brains think we need to wash daily. She will teach you what products are helpful or harmful to your hair and the best routine to keep your locks glowing. She claims that 95% of new referral clients that come her way have never been taught these things, and that they deserve to learn personalized care from a hair expert rather than a stranger on TikTok or YouTube.
The first appointment with a different stylist is just like a first date: new and exciting. She is upfront and honest with each client, which helps her develop a lasting, trustworthy relationship with them. Just check her out on social media and you will see how passionate she is about education, transparency, and of course, blondes.
